As per the official Tweet by ANI on Thursday, “Mumbai Sessions court disposes of anticipatory bail application plea filed by actor Deepika Padukone’s former manager Karishma Prakash in a drug case related to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Court grants her interim protection till 28th August.”

Take a look at the post-

According to PTI, the bench of special judge VV Widwans refused to accept Karishma Prakash’s plea after hearing both the defence and prosecution’s claims. Karishma Prakash was previously summoned by the Narcotics Bureau (NCB) in connection with an alleged nexus between drug peddlers and Bollywood celebrities. After the agency discovered evidence against Rhea Chakraborty and her brother for allegedly procuring drugs, the entire drug nexus in Bollywood came to light.

Following the unexpected death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the NCB’s drug investigation drew the attention of several well-known figures, including Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and others. In the aforementioned narcotics nexus, the FBI is said to have apprehended more than 20 peddlers. The court has given interim protection to Deepika Padukone’s manager till August 25.
