Antara Mali (born October 20, 1975) is a Bollywood actress, director, and screenwriter who has often appeared in Malayalam as well as Telugu movies. Antara Mali was born in Mumbai, India, on October 20, 1975, to Jagdish Mali, a well-known Indian photographer. Until June 12, 2009, she has been wedded to Che Kurrien, GQ magazine’s editor.
Mali’s dad suffered from diabetes as well as other ailments. Antara was notified while he was reported missing on the roads and was discovered bewildered. Mali stated that because she was about to become a mother, she had been unable to accept the responsibility for the parents.
Mali screen debut in Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge! in 1998. The movie, on the other hand, was a failure. Her movie Prema Katha, helmed by Ram Gopal Varma, was premiered the following year. Following that, Varma had become a frequent collaborator with Mali, acting in a number of his movies, including Mast (1999), Road (2002), Company (2002), and Darna Mana Hai (2002). (2003). Despite the fact that Mali’s abilities were lauded by reviewers, the majority of his films did not do well at the box office. Inside the 2003 movie Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, Mali portrayed an aspiring actress who was influenced by Madhuri Dixit. After her final movie, Mr Ya Miss (that she also wrote and directed), was badly received and severely criticised, she ended her career as an actor in 2005.
She made a return to cinema in 2010 through Amol Palekar’s…And Once Again, although she has still not been involved in movies ever since. Antara Mali became renowned in Bollywood as a “lost face.” But there are a few fan sites dedicated towards the actor, among the most popular is Antara Mali Kurrien, which has 6554 followers and the last posted in March 2020. So far, we haven’t been able to determine if the account belongs to the actress or are some of her fan pages.
