Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan is indeed a film that practically everyone is looking forward to seeing. Since its trailer was published, the movie featuring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, as well as Ananya Panday has already been catching all the attention. Gehraiyaan’s entire crew is now on a promotion binge. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actors discussed the whole filming process. But it was when Ananya talked about just the difficulties she had playing Tia at the front of the camera that drew our attention.

“I feel that this persona is fairly close to who I am as a person,” Ananya Panday spoke of her role. “For me, the most difficult thing was being myself at the front of the camera. It’s often simple to put yourself in somebody else’s shoes whether you’re playing a different role or someone who live away from you. However, it might be frightening to expose a sensitive and delicate aspect of oneself in front of the camera. But when things go well, it’s also tremendously freeing.”
