Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been tested positive for Covid-19. The actor confirmed the news on his social media and shared that he has isolated himself in his home and is following all the protocols.
Akshay also urged all those who came in contact with him to get themselves. He wrote, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care of. Back in action very soon!”
On the work front, Akshay Kumar had recently begun shooting for the film, ‘Ram Setu’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, in which he will be playing the role of an archaeologist. The film is been directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Kumar’s Cape of Good Films.
Recently, Alia Bhatt, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aamir Khan, Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal have also tested positive for Covid-19.
