The second wave of Covid-19 is striking Maharashtra very hard, along with the other parts of the country. Many Bollywood celebrities tested positive for Covid 19 and most recently Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar is the busiest Bollywood star. Post lockdown 2020, Akshay started working round the clock on his incomplete and new projects. His most talked about project is Ram Setu. Akshay has projected a very different look in the movie. The spectacled look with salt and pepper hair complete with a stole around his neck has been catching a lot of attention lately.
Recently, work has come to a halt on the sets of the movie Ram Setu. Akshay has shifted to a hospital and informed via social media, “Thank you, everyone, for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home soon. Take care.”
Crew of Ram Setu tests positive
Akshay Kumar urged everyone who has come in his contact to get themselves tested. As per recent information, 45 crew members who were working on the sets of Ram Setu have tested positive for Covid 19. A crew of 100 people were scheduled to join the Ram Setu set on Monday, April 5, in Mumbai’s Madh Island. The Covid-19 test was conducted to ensure that all the onboard crew is Covid free before joining the sets. Unfortunately, 45 of these junior artists of Ram Setu team tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Ashok Dubey, General Secretary of Federation of Western India Cine Employees confirmed the news about the crew members of Ram Setu testing positive for Covid 19. Ashok Dubey of FWICE stated that team “Ram Setu has been taking full precautions. It is really unfortunate that 45 people from our Junior Artistes Association have tested positive. The member of the crew who had tested positive have been quarantined.
Monday’s shoot now stands canceled. It is unlikely that the shoot of the film Ram Setu will restart before a fortnight.
