Akshay Kumar on his 54th birthday on Thursday, (September 9) shared an adorable picture featuring himself with his mom, Aruna Bhatia. In the snap shared, Aruna Bhatia is seen planting a kiss on his cheek. Akshay’s mom breathed her last yesterday, September 8. In his birthday note, Akki wrote that he is sure his mother is singing Happy Birthday to him from up there. He also thanked everyone for their wishes.
Akshay Kumar also penned a heartwarming note. “Would have never liked it this way but am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there! Thanks to each one of you for your condolences and wishes alike. Life goes on,” Akshay wrote.
Akshay Kumar’s mom dies, actor calls her his core
On Wednesday, Akshay Kumar took Twitter to inform his fans and followers about the demise of his mom, Aruna Bhatia. His mother was admitted to Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital on September 3. Akshay Kumar flew down to Mumbai from London after her health deteriorated and was shifted to ICU. He tweeted, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”
Akshay Kumar has been receiving birthday wishes from his fans and well-wishers. In their birthday wishes, fans are asking the actor to stay strong.
