Kranti is indeed a 1981 Indian Bollywood historical epic movie directed by Manoj Kumar, alongside Salim–Javed writing the plot and screenplay. Dilip Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Parveen Babi, Sarika, Prem Chopra, Madan Puri, Paintal, as well as Pradeep Kumar feature in the film. Dilip Kumar made his comeback in this movie after quite a five-year absence. The movie was shown in various major Indian Cities to commemorate its golden jubilee, along with a theatre that was completely sold out for 96 days. The Kranti movie is slated in nineteenth-century British India that tells the tale of the struggle for independence from British Rule from 1825 to 1875. Sanga (Dilip Kumar), Bharat (Manoj Kumar), also famous as Kranti, a prince (Shashi Kapoor), as well as a freedom warrior are among the men who led the revolt over British rule (Shatrughan Sinha). He is condemned to death but manages to elude capture and create a group of revolutionaries with one objective in mind: to push the British from out India. This organisation grows into numerous armies, all fighting for the same goal: an independent India, widely known as Kranti. Parveen Babi has a famous nudist scene in the movie.
Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the melody, while Santosh Anand wrote the words. With successful tracks including “Zindagi Ki Na Toote Ladi” as well as “Chana Jor Garam,” the music became famous. Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, Mahendra Kapoor, Shailender Singh, and Nitin Mukesh were among the notable singers who sang for these performers.
