Nandish Singh Sandhu, who made his Bollywood debut with Super 30 two years ago, received acclaim for his portrayal of Hrithik Roshan’s younger brother. Now, the actor is slated to make his OTT debut with Sony Liv’s Undekhi Season 2.
Nandish will reprise his role as Samarth in the sequel to Undekhi, which received rave reviews upon its initial release. “I was a little concerned when I was originally contacted for the part,” Nandish admits. However, after I saw the first season, I clearly understood the story and more so after meeting the director, Ashish Shukla, I was completely convinced. Our first meeting was long and detailed but I loved the passion he had for the series, the story and each and every character. And that was it”.
The first season of the criminal thriller focused on the Atwal family, who had developed a monopoly in the narcotics market in Himachal, albeit Nandish didn’t divulge much about his character. Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Harsh Chhaya, Surya Sharma, Ankur Rathee, Anchal Singh, and Abhishek Chauhan were among the ensemble cast members. The second season continues their journey, with the Atwals confronting a slew of new obstacles with the arrival of Samarth, who will be played by Nandish Singh.
