Here’s what to expect from the Indian Idol finale on August 15th. Aditya Narayan, the show’s star host, will perform alongside his father, veteran musician Udit Narayan, in a live performance. Yes, you read it right.
But here’s the kicker: Aditya will be singing his father’s hit songs like “Doli Sajaa Ke Rakhna,” “Papa Kehte Hain,” “Jadoo Teri Nazar,” and “Pehla Nasha,” while Udit Narayan will be singing his son’s successes like “Tattad Tattad,” “Ishqiya Dishqiyan,” and “Tattad Tattad.”
Singer Aditya Narayan confirmed that “Well, the finale has a lot of performances. But for me, my favourite performance for the Finale is my father and I doing an act together. We are planning a role reversal where he sings my song and I sing his. All our top 15 contestants are performing. It’s being shot on our Mumbai set. We are shooting it over the course of a week to accommodate all acts. The finale result announcement will be live.”
In today’s telecast of the singing reality show, Taimur’s nana will be a part of the show. Randhir Kapoor, moved by the gesture, expressed his gratitude to the crew for making his day so memorable. He expressed his gratitude to everyone and stated that following the filming, he would go straight to meet Taimur.
