Sidharth Shukla’s last rites to take place on September 3

Bigg Boss 13 winner and television actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday morning (September 2) after suffering a heart attack. The 40-year-old actor is survived by his mother and two sisters.

Sidharth’s untimely and tragic death has left his family, friends, and fans heartbroken. The Mumbai Police revealed has now revealed that his body will remain in the hospital tonight and will be handed over to his family for his last rites on Friday, (September 3).

Sidharth who breathed his last on Thursday morning had felt uneasy the previous night and had taken some medication before going to sleep. The actor didn’t wake up in the morning. His mother, Rita Shukla, tried to wake up. After which he was taken to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Sidharth’s post-mortem was started at 3.45 pm on Thursday. A team of five doctors conducted his post-mortem and checked everything twice. The entire post-mortem process which took place for more than 3 hours was recorded with two cops from Mumbai police present as witnesses.

While police said that no foul play has been suspected in Sidharth’s death, they will still investigate whether the actor was on any medication or not.
