Kavita Kaushik bring Bappa home after 5 years, shares emotional post

Television actress Kavita Kaushik on Saturday shared that why she discontinued celebrating the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The actress revealed that it is due to the grief over her father’s death in 2016.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the actress shared an emotional post and said that something ‘broke’ when her father passed away and she stopped bringing the idol of Lord Ganesha. Sharing a bunch of pictures of herself, comedian Kapil Sharma, his wife Ginni Chatrath, and Bharti Singh.

Along with the pictures, Kaushik wrote, “Something broke in 2016 when my father died, I discontinued bringing Bappa home, maybe I was fighting with my Mahadev ‘you took away my dad I won’t love your son.'” “I lost my fire to achieve, my zeal, my ambition. But God made us and only God pulls us out of our self-made barriers,” she continued.

The telly actress wrote, “Today I can’t thank the lord above for the love I’ve received in abundance, I had never thought il get love and care like my papa showered on me, we bring back Bappa into our new home after a 5 years break and Bappa made me bring him not just at home but carrying him in my arms on national TV.”

For the uninitiated, Kavita Kaushik is best known for shows like the sitcom F.I.R. in which she played a tough, no-nonsense cop, Chandramukhi Chautala, which made her a household name.
