The “State of Seige” web series is in line with ZEE5’s strategy of bringing real and inspiring stories. The series was very successful and viewers across the globe loved it.
Besides, the web series is based on Sandeep Unnithan’s book ‘Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11’. Also, the series is a tribute to the NSG, who sacrificed their lives during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. “State of Siege: 26/11” is available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. This was one of the most engaging content to premiere during the lockdown in March 2020.
Furthermore, ZEE5 and Contiloe recently came up with another collaboration – ‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’. The original film premiered in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu simultaneously on 9th July. This film too is globally successful for the OTT platform. The movie has the highest watch time coming from India, USA, UAE.
The film marked the OTT debut of actor Akshaye Khanna. The actor played the role of Major Hanut Singh, an NSG commando. ‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’ featured on Ormax Media’s ‘Most-Liked Indian Direct to OTT Films’.
With the launch of ‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’, ‘State of Siege: 26/11’ also attracted new viewers.
