While Amazon Prime video have access to an exclusive collection of free TV episodes and movies, anybody with an Amazon account may rent titles from Prime Video via the website, mobile app, or any TV app.
You have up to 30 days to start viewing whatever you rent on Prime Video. Once you’ve hit play for the first time, you’ll have 48 hours to pause and restart playback or watch it as many times as you like, as long as you don’t exceed the two-day rental period.
Whether you’re renting a film through the website, a mobile app, or the app on a smart TV or streaming device, the process is the same.
You may watch the video on any device, regardless of where you rent it.
1. Begin by visiting the Prime Video website as well as logging in, or by downloading the app to your preferred device.
2. Look for the show or film you wish to see. You may search for videos by name, genre, actor, or director by browsing Prime Video’s categories or using the search function.
- Select the display quality you wish to rent upon that video’s information page. Selecting “More purchasing options” may provide more alternatives, such as standard definition (SD), high definition (HD), as well as 4K UHD. Rentals of higher quality normally cost a bit extra.
- 4. Enter your Prime Film PIN to finalise the transaction and indicate you wish to rent the video if you have one enabled.
- When you select a video, it is immediately leased and accessible for watching.
- If you mistakenly choose a film for renting, you have several minutes to cancel the purchase. Click “Cancel Purchase” as soon as you’ve decided to rent the film. The rental fee will be reimbursed to you right away.
