Review of “Code Name Abdul”

Code Name Abdul is a spy thriller set in the action-adventure genre. Esh Gunturu has created an emotional family drama movie that he has expertly designed and scripted. The storey follows the lives of four intelligence officers who work in research and analysis. Wing RAW, an Indian intelligence organisation, embarks on a perilous mission to apprehend a terrorist inside an undercover investigation in New York, with very little knowledge of the implications that would take place.

Behind The Scenes from the sets of ‘Code Name Abdul’

Tanishaa Mukerji is the younger sister of actress Kajol and is the daughter of director Shomu Mukherjee and actress Tanuja. With this spy thriller, Tanishaa Mukerji has made her comeback in Bollywood. Tanishaa plays the protagonist in this movie, and she also has a deep connection to thrillers, since she made her Bollywood debut with the thriller ‘Sssshhh…’ in 2003. Now,  If we compare her performance in the previous film to her performance in this film, we can safely say that this film is the winner. Tanishaa has provided her greatest performance of her career with ‘Code Name Abdul.’

In terms of direction, Eshwar Gunturu made his directorial debut with this movie. When you watch this film, you’ll see that Esh Gunturu’s directing style isn’t like any other Bollywood film, but rather more like Hollywood films. As a result, you’ll begin to compare Esh Gunturu’s filmmaking abilities to those of Hollywood’s famed filmmaker Quintin Tarantino. It’s certainly a refreshing experience to see films like ‘Code Name Abdul,’ since you can never guess what will happen in the following minute, even if you try.

If you get the chance, embrace yourself and watch this must-watch movie ‘Code Name Abdul,’ which is exclusively available in cinema theatres near you starting today, December 10th.
