Gehraiyaan, directed by Shakun Batra and starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa, will be released tomorrow. The premiere of the movie took place on Wednesday night, with the stars dressed to the nines.
The Central Board of Film Certification has given Gehraiyaan an ‘A’ certificate ahead of its distribution on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video (CBFC). The film was passed by the CBFC without a single edit.
However, after watching Shakun Batra’s directorial, the Examining Committee suggested a few changes. The EC’s suggestions were apparently followed, and the picture now has a ‘Adults Only’ certificate. Gehraiyaan has been making waves for its personal and kissing moments since the trailer was released.
In fact, it is the first Hindi film to be recognised with an Intimacy Director. Shakun Batra, on the other hand, claims that closeness has been handled as a character.
