CHERNOBYL (HBO Originals)

The much-discussed mini-series Chernobyl is the most recent of HBO’s many experiments. The Chernobyl series, which was made with the help of Sky UK, has a magnificent 9.6 rating on IMDb, with critics across the world praising it for how unwaveringly accurate and informative it is. The show analyses one of its world’s worst man-made disasters from within, centred on the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power facility in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It is available to watch on Disney Plus Hotstar for its premium subscribers.

Check out the official trailer below:

Chernobyl is a 2019 historical epic television miniseries about the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear power plant tragedy and the subsequent cleanup activities. Craig Mazin developed and wrote the series, which was directed by Johan Renck. Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgrd, Emily Watson, and Paul Ritter lead an ensemble cast. HBO in the United States and Sky UK in the United Kingdom created the show.

Whereas the miniseries was meticulously studied, certain spectacular liberties were used. Each episode was supplemented by a podcast in which Mazin and NPR broadcaster Peter Sagal talked about the adjustments and why they were made. Although the authors’ attention to detail has been generally acclaimed, critics, experts, and witnesses have pointed out certain small historical and factual inconsistencies in the program.
