Poonam Pandey joins Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp as the third participant

The anticipation for the highly anticipated reality programme Lock Upp which will be shown on ALTBalaji and MX Player, is building by the day. Viewers can’t wait to witness all the action, drama, as well as gossip play on their screens since the show’s gala debut in Mumbai, which announced the fiery Kangana Ranaut as the show’s presenter.

The creators have revealed that Poonam Pandey would be the third convict to join Nisha Rawal and Munawar Faruqui in Kangana’s ‘Lock Upp’, despite several rumours and speculation regarding the next contender. Poonam, a well-known model and internet personality, made her Bollywood debut in 2013 with Nasha. Her name has surely given gloss and glam to this brazen hostage reality show, ratcheting up the sexiness factor.

The official Instagram handle of ALTBalaji shared the promo featuring Pandey and captioned it, “Hot ke chakkar mein ho gayi Poonam Pandey caught! #LockUpp streaming from 27th Feb, LIVE free.

Poonam Pandey shared, “I am super excited to inform everyone that I am a part of the biggest controversial show in India, ‘Lock Upp’. I don’t know what will happen in there because whatever I have read and have seen about the show, I have understood that I have to perform a task even for my basic necessities and there is no luxury in this Lock Upp. So I don’t know how am I going to pull this off, but I am nervous and excited at the same time.” 

Content Lock Upp: Badass Jail Atyaachaari Khel, hosted by Czarina Ekta R Kapoor, will feature 16 prominent celebrity competitors locked up in host Kangana Ranaut’s jail who will vie for the most basic amenities while fighting for the winner’s title. Starting February 27th, 2022, ALTBalaji and MX Player will live broadcast this programme 24 hours a day, seven days a week on their respective platforms, allowing viewers to interact directly with the competitors.
