Superstar Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will make his Web series debut with the upcoming show on Rudra – The Edge of Darkness that will be released in the Disney + Hotstar VIP. With the First season of his digital debut, ‘Singham’ star will be paid a staggering amount of Rs. 125 cr (which is a huge amount). But now, credible sources have informed that the director of the web show is being paid a much lesser amount as remuneration (which is just shocking to know).

A credible source says, “Ajay Devgn making his digital debut is big news, and obviously drew attention from major streaming giants, so being paid Rs. 125 cr for Rudra was pretty obvious.” The source added further talking about the remuneration for directing the show that “Rajesh is being paid a sum of Rs. 4 cr for directing the first season of Rudra.” When being asked about this huge difference, he concluded with “Writers and directors usually do not get their share of adulation. It is usually A-list stars that get the monetary gain since more than a director it is the actor’s name that pushes a film of series forward.”
