Farhan Akhtar Starrer ‘Toofaan’ is Most Watch Hindi Film On Prime Video

It’s a huge achievement for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s directorial ‘Toofaan’ as it has achieved the title for the Most-Watched Hindi Film on one of the biggest digital platform, Amazon Prime Video. Read below to know how the lead actor of the film Farhan Akhtar reacted and appreciated the fans for their support.

Within one week of its release, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s sports drama Toofaan, starring Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal, and Mrunal Thakur, became Amazon Prime Video’s Most Watched Film. On July 16th, the film was released, and it quickly became the most popular OTT film. Within a week of its debut, more people watched Toofaan on Amazon Prime Video than any other Hindi film. People in around 3,900 cities and towns across India watched the film in large numbers. On the OTT platform, the film was watched by millions of people from 160 different countries.

Farhan Akhtar, the star of Toofaan, took to Instagram to thank his fans for their support. He captioned it, “One must work hard regardless of reward but when it comes, it’s important to recognise those who made it happen. Thank you for making #Toofaan the most-watched film on @primevideoin”. Farhan Akhtar also shared his picture from the boxing ring and wrote, ” Thank you for being in our corner, Lots of love – Farhan Akhtar. ”

The 47-year-old actor plays Aziz Ali, a local goon who, with the help of his coach, transforms into a boxer. The film also stars great actors like Vijay Raaz, Supriya Pathak, Sonali Kulkarni, and Hussain Dalal who lend their support to the film by playing prominent roles. After the hit biopic sports drama Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, based on the life of great athlete Milkha Singh, this is Farhan Akhtar’s second collaboration with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
