Taapsee Pannu Wraps Up the High-Octane Revenge Drama Gandhari with Ishwak Singh

The much-anticipated revenge thriller Gandhari, starring Taapsee Pannu and Ishwak Singh, has officially completed its shoot. Written and produced by Kanika Dhillon under her banner Kathha Pictures, the film is helmed by acclaimed director Devashish Makhija, known for his gripping narratives in Bhonsle and Joram.

Gandhari marks the sixth collaboration between Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee Pannu, following their acclaimed projects like Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dillruba, and Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba. Filmed over 50 intense days across Mumbai and Maharashtra, the movie promises a raw, action-packed experience as Taapsee steps into the role of a mother on a relentless mission.

Taking to Instagram, Taapsee shared her emotional journey, saying, “If there’s a NOS mode for the human body, I experienced it in this film. If there’s something called running on grit and determination, I saw it here. Some bruises bring a contentment like never before—we gave it our all! Bringing #Gandhari to you soon.”

Ishwak Singh also reflected on the experience, calling it “an incredible journey full of passion, hard work, and unforgettable memories.”

Kanika Dhillon described Gandhari as “a heroic story that has been both enriching and challenging.” Meanwhile, Taapsee emphasized the physical and mental toll of the film, stating, “We pushed the envelope, and I felt like a newcomer giving it all in every shot.”

Produced by Kathha Pictures and directed by Devashish Makhija, Gandhari is set for release in 2025.
