In a world where most stars are never seen without a team in tow, Ranbir Kapoor prefers to fly solo—literally and figuratively. While shooting abroad, the actor has been spotted dining alone at local cafés, skipping the usual glam squad entirely.
Rajeev Masand, COO of Dharma Cornerstone, revealed that Kapoor doesn’t travel with an entourage. Sharing an anecdote from an airport encounter, Masand said Ranbir was quietly standing in line, alone. When asked where his team was, Kapoor replied with a simple, “What team?”
Masand added that directors who have worked with Ranbir overseas often found him enjoying quiet meals by himself during lunch breaks. “It’s not something you see with actors of his stature,” he noted. But that’s exactly what makes Ranbir different.
His minimalism isn’t just a lifestyle choice—it’s a creative one. According to Masand, the Rockstar actor believes in staying grounded to deliver authentic performances.
Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He’s also set to star in Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
