Yo Yo Honey Singh, a popular rapper and musician, has been ordered by a district court in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district to appear before a local police station to produce a voice sample in connection with a complaint filed against him. Anandpal Singh Jabbal filed a complaint against him for singing and posting a foul song on social media. However, no specific music has been named.

The Panchpaoli police allegedly filed a case against the rapper under section 292 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology Act (ITA) (selling, distribution of obscene content).

Honey Singh has been ordered to appear before even the cops at Nagpur’s Panchpaoli police station between February 4 and February 11 by District and Additional Sessions Judge S A S M Ali.

The court issued the ruling after the artist requested permission to fly to Dubai. Honey Singh was permitted to go overseas between January 29 and February 4 after appearing there at police station.

The investigating officer objected to Honey Singh’s application, stating that the singer was expected to appear there at police station on January 25, but had forgotten to do so and had alerted the police through email.
