Shakeela Raza, the mother-in-law of actor Manoj Bajpayee, died this morning at Max hospital in Delhi. After a protracted illness, Manoj’s mother-in-condition law’s has been severe over the past several days. She has been battling cancer for the last 12 years. Shabana Bajpayee, the actor’s wife, lost her father last year and her mother this year.
This is the Bajpayee family’s third death in the last year. Manoj raced from his shoot site to Delhi to be with his family after hearing the news. Manoj had already lost his father, RK Bajpayee. His father, who was 83 years old at the time, died in October of last year.
On the professional front, Manoj Bajpayee has a busy year ahead of him, as he has been filming multiple projects back-to-back. He’s now working on Ram Reddy’s movie, Kanu Bhel’s Despatch, Abhishek Chaubey’s next feature, and Rahul Chitela’s project.
