“I Wish I Could Beat Up Guys”: Saiyami Kher on Embracing Her Inner Action Heroine

At the Special Ops 2 press conference, Saiyami Kher turned heads with her bold statement: “I wish I could beat up guys and have guns in my hands, because that’s what women genuinely feel.”

Breaking away from soft-glam portrayals, Kher expressed a strong desire to tap into more action-driven roles. “There’s something empowering about being physical on screen—showing strength, not just softness,” she said.

In an industry slowly expanding for women in action roles, Kher’s voice adds to the growing chorus demanding fiercer, more layered female characters.
