Director Sanjay Gupta, who is working on the script for the third instalment of Shootout 3 movie has confirmed that actor Aditya Roy Kapur will not be a part of this project.
As yesterday reports started to rounding up that Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is looking to cast Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur in the upcoming part Shootout 3. The first part is pretty well known by the audience as Shootout at Lokhandwala which was directed by Sanjay Gupta and was released in the year 2007.
The director Sanjay Gupta recently denied the rumours and clarified by saying “Not true at all.” The director replied when he was questioned about actor Aditya Roy Kapur being a part of his upcoming project movie Shootout 3. Aditya Roy Kapur is trying to break his lover boy image that he has established through the years starting from Aashiqui 2. The actor is kind of successful in doing so by working in movies like Malang and multi starer movie Ludo.
Last year, due to the lockdown, caused due by the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta announced and revealed that he had been working on the script of Shootout 3 with Rajat Arora and Ekta Kapoor and it will mark be his next film after Mumbai Saga. He had also said that he will take it on the floors once the lockdown allows for the shooting to take place. Talking about on the work front, actor Aditya Roy Kapur is further having an action movie of Ahmed Khan’s OM: The Battle Within, opposite Sanjana Sanghi. The actor and director will be collaborating on another project as well.
