‘Delhi Crime Season 3’ is based on the tragic “Baby Falak Case”

The incident which shocked India in 2012 due to its brutality and the heartbreaking story of a defenseless child caught in a cycle of abuse and trafficking is going to be televised or say inspired on Delhi Crime web series on Netflix.
The show is unraveling another real-life crime after depicting the crimes of the notorious Kachcha Baniyan gang in the second season and showcasing the aftermath of the infamous 2012 Delhi gang rape in the first season.

In January 2012, a two-year-old girl named Falak was admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) with severe head injuries, human bite marks, and broken limbs. She was brought to the hospital by a teenage girl claiming to be her mother. Medical staff, alarmed by the extent of Falak’s injuries, immediately suspected foul play and notified authorities. As investigations unfolded, it was revealed that the teenage girl was herself a victim of human trafficking and was caring for Falak under the influence of an adult man who had manipulated and abused both the child and the teenager. Further probes uncovered a large human trafficking network involving child exploitation, forced prostitution, and the sale of women for marriage.
