Following Simmba, Rohit Shetty as well as Ranveer Singh revealed his next partnership, Cirkus, a little while back. Shooting up on that movie, which is said to be based adaption of William Shakespeare’s famed play The Comedy of Errors, was very well started in Mumbai. Circus whole crew is already its route to Ooty to film the movie’s last session, according to Bollywood Society.
“Rohit had locked Ooty as one of the shoot locations a long time back, but due to the pandemic restrictions, the schedules were sent into a tizzy. However, with things returning to normal finally the entire crew are pretty kicked about the final schedule of Cirkus”, according to a person close towards the project. The insider continues to give additional facts regarding the shooting, saying, “Rohit, Ranveer Singh, and the entire crew will head to Ooty and will commence shooting for the film’s last schedule from December 1. Locations, where the film will be shot in the hill station, have already been finalized, while the scenes themselves that are yet to be shot are some pivotal outdoor sequences that will require the entire cast.”
In terms of the movie content, Rohit Shetty has stated that this would be released around Diwali 2022. Cirkus is described as just a comedy of errors akin to Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma’s classic, Angoor, in terms of what to expect. Pooja Hegde as well as Jacqueline Fernandez play the female roles inside the film.
Cirkus is Rohit Shetty’s interpretation of Comedy Of Errors. This was previously speculated that the film would be a remake of Sanjeev Kumar, Moushumi Chatterjee, and Deven Varma’s 1982 comedy Angoor. The filmmaker, on the other hand, has rejected the rumours. In Cirkus, Ranveer Singh will be featured in two roles. Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, and Ashwini Kalsekar, all regulars in Rohit Shetty’s movies, will appear in the movie.
