Actor Amit Mistry Passed Away After Suffering From A Major Cardiac Arrest

Actor Amit Mistry died on Friday morning after suffering from a major cardiac arrest. The actor worked in Tv shows like Tenali Rama, Maddam Sir and also played other roles like Yamla Pagla Deewana, Shor In The City and also web show.

Amit’s manager Maharshi Desai confirmed the news about his death. He said, “I am in complete shock myself. He was all well and was at his home only. He didn’t even complain of any health issue. Post breakfast he felt an ache in his heart and it was a heart attack and his family couldn’t even take him to the hospital. It is a big loss for the entertainment industry to lose an actor like him and I will miss working with him,”

Actor Kubbra Sait shared a picture of Amit on social media and wrote, “You’ll be missed on earth @Actoramitmistry Condolences to the family.” Replying to a Twitter user’s query, Kubbra added that Amit died of a cardiac arrest. “Exactly… just reconfirmed. It happened this morning. Cardiac arrest,”

Amit’s friends and some well-wishers also posted on social media about his sudden death. One of his friend who spoke to him recently, said, “sounded perfectly fine when we last spoke to him.”

Producer Mahir Khan, who worked with Amit in the show, Dafa 420, wrote, “I spoke to him around 10 days back and he was healthy and happy. He asked me if I am planning to work on something and when are we working together. He also wanted to meet soon. The news of his death is shocking and heartbreaking. He was a powerhouse of talent and energy. No matter for how many long hours we would shoot, I never saw him complaining. He was very passionate and honest towards his work. He was not just a good actor, but a gem of a person, who was always ready to help others. I will miss him dearly.”

Amit Mistry had featured in Hindi films like ‘Kya Kehna’, ‘Ek Chalis Ki Last local’, 99, ‘Shor In The City’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘Bey Yaar’, ‘A Gentleman’ and many other films.
