It’s no secret that the KPOP can be cutthroat and competitive at times. As if the tough training and demanding schedules weren’t enough, these heroes are also expected to present a polished image in public at all times. Fans of KPOP place high importance on maintaining a clean public image, and if an idol fails to achieve those criteria, they are chastised and despised for no apparent reason.
As awful as it may sound, experiencing hate becomes unavoidable as your popularity grows. However, some idols have indeed been witch-hunted towards the point where even a strand of hair on the head is scrutinised.
Idols have indeed been chastised in the past for conducting the most basic human activities that most of us take for granted.

Blackpink’s Jennie
Nobody is surprised that Jennie is at the top of the list. Jennie has faced consistent criticism throughout her career, from “lazy dancing” to “dating scandals.” For obtaining the nicest outfits during promotions, she was dubbed “YG’s princess,” and she was chastised for having a sour attitude simply because she has a straight face. People would never let it go even after it was shown that she was neither lazy during dancing and had legitimately damaged her ankle.
In 2019, she was entangled in a relationship controversy with Kai from Exo, and more recently with Bigbang’s G-dragon, prompting critics to accuse her of dating too much.
Daniel Kang
Kang Daniel used to be a member of the Wanna One group, which has now disbanded. He was chastised for attracting too much attention as the most well-known member. It doesn’t stop here, as absurd as it may sound. When the news of his connection with Twice’s Jihyo became public, it sparked outrage, with many believing he wasn’t really “good enough” for her because she was always a rookie at the time.
Maknae line of BTS
Jimin, V, as well as Jungkook, are three of the most well-known performers in the world, and not only in South Korea. The actual cause for their widespread hatred has remained a mystery, however, netizens accuse them of stealing all of the attention away from the Hyung line. They’re being chastised for being popular!
Kai is a member of Exo
Kai is among the greatest dancers inside the K-pop industry, and it’s perplexing that he’s been chastised for being “cocky” and “rude” when performing. Also, since dating appears to become a crime among K-pop artists, his relationship with F(Krystal )’s and Blackpink’s Jennie enraged the naysayers to no end.
