What is the religion of BTS?

BTS

It’s clear that BTS is committed to their devoted fan base, the ARMY. The lads constantly have the ARMY in mind, whether this is releasing special content for them through a mobile video game or tantalizing them with footage of the boy band in their spare time. BTS members have a lot to be grateful for, with such successful careers. But then again who, if anybody, are the lads praying to? Is there anyone among them who believes in a higher power? The guys don’t talk up their religious views very often, but this is what we know about every member of BTS.

RM

Inside an interview, RM stated that he had been an atheist, although he has made religious references within the past, so we don’t know if anything has changed. “Prayin for a better place for you and I,” says one line in the song “Change,” which BTS features rapper Wale. RM also has been seen wearing a crucifix-shaped necklace, which some interpret to be a religious sign.

V

V has never stated his religious beliefs, although some admirers believe he is a Christian since he built a Spotify playlist that included a Hillsong Christian worship hymn. V from BTS has often been seen pointing up in remembrance of his late grandma, which might indicate that he is religious.

Jin

Jin hasn’t ever stated publicly his religious beliefs, although the ARMY believes he is not religious.

Jimin

Jimin hasn’t spoken about his religion, however, some ARMY members believe he may well have visited an all-boys Catholic or Christian school as a child, which may have influenced his current beliefs.

J-Hope

J-Hope does not have a recognised religion, however, he has previously spoken about his trust in himself. J-Optimism was chosen as his stage name because he wanted to give his followers hope. The tale of Pandora’s box is also referenced in the name.

Suga

Suga from BTS stated that he does not have a religion instead prays inside a tweet during a trip to Kobe, Japan. “I understood once again that I am only a human being, despite the fact that I am weak yet appear tough. Despite the fact that I am not religious, I prayed throughout that time. The conclusion has indeed been reached. And even if there was no end, my feelings, as well as heart, would remain unchanged “he stated

Jungkook

Although Jungkook hasn’t ever expressed his religious beliefs, he actually attended a Christian high school where pupils are taught the Bible and attend religious services once a week. His experiences in high school may well have influenced his opinions in some way.
