The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre (previously New World Concert Theatre, Tweeter Center, and Its first Midwest Bank Amphitheatre) is indeed an outdoor music venue in Tinley Park, Illinois, which first opened in 1990. With a capacity of approximately 28,000 spectators (11,000 reserved seats and 17,000 grass seats), this is one of the largest concert venues inside the Chicago region.

Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is a venue that attracts fans from all over Chicago, including the suburbs as well as other states. Just a few huge outdoor amphitheatres exist inside the Chicago region.

From 1994 until 1999, the venue was co-managed by Nederlander Concerts as well as Jam Productions.

Beginning June 2015, the name rights were bought by Hollywood Casino. Live Nation is indeed the owner of the facility.

Brent Mydland, a keyboard player for such Grateful Dead, performed his final gig on July 23, 1990, tragically he away three days later.
