Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi Opener Back After Security Clearance
Diljit Dosanjh visits the Taj Mahal ahead of the Aura India Tour 2026 Delhi opener on October 30, after organisers clear a police security hold.

Diljit Dosanjh has started the India swing of his Aura India Tour 2026 with a sightseeing stop rather than a stadium run-through. Two days before the Delhi opener on October 30, the singer and actor visited the Taj Mahal in Agra and shared glimpses with fans on social media.
The video shows him exploring the monument with a close security detail, taking in the view and waving to people nearby. The look was relaxed and unmistakably Diljit: a grey T-shirt, a red jacket and his signature white turban.
“WAH TAJ BOLIYE”
He used the phrase as a celebratory caption for the post, tagging it with the Aura India Tour 2026 and a nod to the wonders of the world. For fans, it is a softer pre-show image after a week of slightly more serious headlines around the tour.
Why Delhi’s opener was briefly uncertain
The Taj Mahal moment lands after the Delhi concert faced an unexpected roadblock. Delhi Police initially refused permission for the October 30 event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, citing threat-related inputs, security concerns and festival-season law-and-order commitments in a communication to ticketing platform BookMyShow.
Reports linked the caution to a hoax bomb threat email sent to several Delhi schools earlier in the month; that email reportedly mentioned the concert. It was enough to put the show under a spotlight for a few days.
The organisers then met Delhi Police officials and submitted a detailed plan covering security, traffic and crowd management. With the plan in place, police granted permission, and BookMyShow clarified that the event had not been cancelled. The platform added that organisers had assured full compliance with the required measures.
The six-city run ahead
For ticket holders, the situation has a clear resolution: the Delhi opener is on as scheduled. The rehearsal now is for the road ahead, not the clearance desk.
After Delhi, the Aura India Tour moves through five more cities:
- Indore: November 15
- Ahmedabad: November 21
- Mumbai: November 27
- Bengaluru: November 29
- Lucknow: December 5
If you are headed to any of these shows, keep an eye on BookMyShow and official police advisories for city-specific entry and security guidance. A big concert in the festive season now runs as much on crowd planning and paperwork as it does on the performer’s energy.
The Taj stop, then, is more than a travel update. It is the visible calm before a high-energy stretch, and a sign that the tour is finally clear to begin.
