Which movie is trending now in India? – August Edition

Talking about a trending movie in India right now, for the month of August 2021, it is ‘Bell Bottom‘.

Bell Bottom

With the action thriller Bell Bottom, Akshay Kumar has returned to the big screen after an 18-month absence. With an opening day gross of Rs. 2.75 crore, the film had a lukewarm reaction at the box office. Bell Bottom is the trending movie in India, right now.

The film’s second-day collections are expected to be in the region of Rs. 2.30 to 2.50 crore, bringing the two-day total to somewhere between Rs. 5.05 and 5.25 crore, according to early estimates. The revenues might be somewhat higher based on single-screen numbers, but a total greater than the opening day [Rs. 2.75 crore] is doubtful.

Because of the unusual day release, the trade and industry expected the business to grow on Friday; but, to everyone’s surprise, the statistics have dropped, which is not a good indication. Despite mostly strong media coverage and favourable reviews, the decline has occurred. With almost 6,481 shows, the Pooja Entertainment Production was presented on 1,620 screens throughout India.

Covid isn’t the only reason why audiences aren’t flocking to theatres; the film’s lack of visibility and knowledge has hampered its chances to a large extent. Bell Bottom has the possibility to maintain steady lower levels and put up a good total in the long run, especially with encouraging comments in the crowd. The film’s fate now hinges on increased box office receipts on Saturday and Sunday, followed by a Thursday-like Monday.

The best thing about Bell Bottom is that it’s a terrific movie, and ideally, word of mouth will convert into crowds in the long term. In the meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government has removed the curfew for Sunday.
