Former Indian actress Ayesha Takia Azmi is well recognised for her performances in Hindi cinema. In 2004, she got the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance in Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Socha Na Tha (2005), Dor (2006), for which she received the Screen Award for Best Actress (Critics), as well as Wanted (2007) are among her major movies.
Ayesha Takia was born to a Gujarati Hindu father as well as a Kashmiri Muslim mother in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She attended Chembur’s St Anthony’s Girls High School.
