It is an American action film, which is directed by Justin Lin and is based on a script written by Daniel Casey and Lin himself. The ninth main instalment and the tenth full-length film in the Fast & Furious franchise, after The Fate of the Furious (2017) movie. The movie stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron in the prominent roles. In F9, Dominic Toretto and the crew band together to foil a world-changing scheme masterminded by Toretto’s brother, Jakob. It is the number 1 movie in the world as in the month of August.

Lin was revealed to be directing Fast & Furious 9 in October 2017, returning to the franchise after directing Fast & Furious 6 in 2014, with a ninth and tenth feature scheduled since 2014. (2013). Since The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) movie, F9 is the first film in the franchise to be written by someone other than Chris Morgan. Principal photography began in June 2019 with the inclusion of John Cena, and continued until November of the same year, with locales including London, Los Angeles, Tbilisi, and Thailand.
F9 movie was set to be released globally on April 19, 2019, but was postponed many times owing to the release of Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and the planned release of Metro-Goldwyn-No Mayer’s Time to Die (2021), as well as the COVID-19 pandemic.
