Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are finally collaborating on a social comedy after several efforts over the last two decades by Vicky Kaushal. The film will be based on the ‘Donkey Flight’ theme. The duo plans to begin shooting for this project in the summer of 2022, with numerous schedules spread out over an 8- to 9-month period.
Rajkumar is a director who consistently casts great names in supporting roles. Jimmy Shergill in the Munnabhai franchise, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput in PK, and Vicky Kaushal in Sanju are just a few examples.
Rajkumar Hirani is now in advanced talks to Vicky Kaushal to play a key role in his upcoming film starring Shah Rukh Khan, according to a report by a web portal. Apart from that, a few other actors are being considered, but Vicky is the frontrunner to land this character.
Vicky and Rajkumar Hirani bonded well on the set of Sanju, according to a source close to the project, so it’s natural for the filmmaker to repeat the casting. Dates, timetables and other details are currently being worked on. The actor would only formally join the production after everything is in place.
Apart from that, Taapsee Pannu has virtually been confirmed to play the female protagonist in Rajkumar Hirani’s movie, as well as actor Boman Irani also will play a key role.
The movie, which has yet to be named, will focus on the topic of “donkey flight,” an illegal backdoor route that has become a popular escape route for Indians seeking to travel to the United States and Canada. Individuals enter a foreign country through many stops in those other countries in this process. The narration for the film will be in a signature style, including both sad and light-hearted parts.
