Valimai Hindi version receives a UA certificate from the CBFC

Following the phenomenal success of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, there appears to be a rise in the number of south films being dubbed in Hindi. The Ajith starrer Valimai will be the latest to enter cinemas, with a market that is more than appreciative of such dubbed flicks. The Hindi version of Valimai has been cleared by the CBFC, and the film is set to enter theatres later in February.

Valimai’s Hindi version has been cleared with a UA rating and a run time of two hours and 59 minutes, according to sources. Valimai appears to be a pretty lengthy adventure, clocking in at just under three hours.

After recommending 15 edits or alterations, the CBFC cleared the Tamil version of the film in December with a similar rating. While the number of cuts or alterations advised for the Hindi version is still unknown, the film’s duration is around a minute longer than its Tamil equivalent.

In addition to Ajith, the film features Huma S Qureshi, Karthikeya, Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, and Pugazh. The film is directed by H Vinoth and features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
