Udta Teer Day 6 Box Office: ₹28.65 Crore, No Growth
Udta Teer added ₹2.65 crore on day six, taking its India total to ₹28.65 crore. Week one is pegged near ₹31 crore before Ramayana arrives.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s spy comedy Udta Teer has crossed the ₹28 crore mark in India, but its sixth-day figures show the film is settling into a steadier, less spectacular rhythm rather than building on the weekend’s momentum.
Day six keeps the total moving, slowly
The film added ₹2.65 crore on Wednesday, bringing its India total to ₹28.65 crore, according to Sacnilk. Udta Teer started well with ₹4.10 crore on Friday, improved to ₹7.25 crore on Saturday and hit its best single-day number so far with ₹8.20 crore on Sunday. Monday then brought the expected post-weekend drop to ₹3.20 crore.
The midweek hold has not turned into growth. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted the film stayed at Monday’s level on Tuesday, and a buy-one-get-one ticket offer is doing some of the work. He expects the first week to land around ₹31 crore, plus or minus, and called the result “a fair result.”
- Friday: ₹4.10 crore
- Saturday: ₹7.25 crore
- Sunday: ₹8.20 crore
- Monday: ₹3.20 crore
- Wednesday: ₹2.65 crore (total: ₹28.65 crore)
Why the next week is the real test
The film has one clear week before Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana opens on 5 November for the Diwali frame. Once that happens, the priority for exhibitors will shift quickly: better screens, better show times and higher ticket volume will go to the big release. For Udta Teer, the challenge is to hold enough shows and keep footfalls warm through the next few days.
The film has a premise that is easy to sell. Khurrana plays a Pakistani spy who loses his memory after a blast and starts to believe he is an Indian Counter-Terrorism Squad officer. The mistaken identity triggers a chain of comic and action-packed events, helped by an ensemble that includes Sara Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, the late Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Sandeep Anand.
What to watch from here
Watch Friday’s hold first. If the film can remain near its Monday figures, it should bank a respectable first week and then add whatever screens allow. The BOGO offer is likely to keep the numbers from falling too sharply, but it also means the true full-price demand is still being tested.
For industry watchers, the film carries a few extra firsts. It is the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik, previously a writer on Housefull 4 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and it marks the fourth collaboration between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga-led Sikhya Entertainment after The Lunchbox, Kill and Gyaarah Gyaarah.
