Taapsee Pannu surprises fans with a new poster for Shabaash Mithu

Taapsee Pannu is an actress who never ceases to wow her admirers, whether it’s through her on-screen talents or her social media activity. The diva is now making news because to her outstanding filmography. In the midst of this, Taapsee’s next film Shabaash Mithu has been one of the most awaited films, with Taapsee donning the blue jersey for the first time on the big screen. To be clear, the actress will play Mithali Raj, the captain of India’s women’s national cricket team, in the film.

Although fans wait to see Taapsee’s Mithali Raj magic, the actress has surprised them with a new Shabaash Mithu poster on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Taapsee was depicted on the billboard sporting a blue jersey with Mithali printed on it. In one hand, she held a bat, and in the other, a cricket bat. The poster was captioned by Taapsee as, “She continues to inspire millions like me. To break a few stereotypes to lay down a new path ahead for many to follow. This Women’s Day I am cheering for the front runners in the fight to #BreakTheBias #ShabaashMithu #ShabaashWomen #shabaashyou”.

Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu is enjoying the success of her most recent film, Looop Lapeta, which she co-wrote with Tahir Raj Bhasin. She’s also stated that she wants to remain a part of the Avengers franchise and that she can do so for the rest of her life. Taapsee remarked in an interview with Film Companion, “That will only happen if Marvel takes me in their Avenger series. That’s the only way. That’s the only cocktail of genres that can make me stick to only one type of film for the rest of my life”.
