As per the reports, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu with her production debut movie, which is titled as ‘Blurr’ will feature her in her first Double role. Read below to know more insights on it.
With her first venture as a Producer, under her banner ‘Outsiders Films’, Taapsee is ready to take this risk of featuring herself in a Double role for the first time. However, the actress played a lead role in the movie ‘Judwaa 2’, where his co-star actor Varun Dhawan played double role. But now is the time to explore with her skills in her own first venture as a producer. The upcoming movie ‘Blurr’ is a suspense thriller about twin sisters adapted from director Guillem Morales’ Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, a taut and clenched 2010 suspense thriller.

This will be the first instance where the actor will play a double role. But, this is not her first Spanish remake project. Previously, Taapsee Pannu has played the lead in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badlaa alongside with legendary Amitabh Bachchan, a remake of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest directed by Oriol Paulo. Interestingly Oriol Paulo has a Blurr connection too, as he the one who wrote the original Spanish film Julia’s Eyes on which Taapsee’s movie Blurr is based. What a coincidence, Isn’t it?
This upcoming movie ‘Blurr’ is directed by Ajay Bahl whose previous film was the critically acclaimed film ‘Article 375’. Alongside Taapsee Pannu, Gulshan Devaiah will be seen playing the leading man in the upcoming movie. When being asked about his excitement to be a part of this film, the actor said that “I am excited to be doing this film. And happy to be working in these difficult times.”
Talking about the original movie, Julia’s Eyes is the story of a woman who is slowly losing her sight whilst trying to investigate the mysterious death of her twin sister. With its 5 remakes being made in 5 different languages, it remains to be seen which film would be out first. Rituparna Sengupta said in a recent interview that Antardrishti would release first.
