Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is a satirical comedy-drama film directed by Abhishek Sharma as well as produced by Zee Studios that was released in India through 2020. Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh play major roles in the film.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic in India, it must have been released in theatres on November 15, 2020, corresponding with Diwali, with just a 50 per cent occupancy cinematic regulation.
Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj Bajpayee) plays a marriage detective who conducts background checks on grooms that year 1995. “The love connection between Suraj and Tulshi, a key pillar of the plot, turns out to be the one significant weak link since they fall in love in a jiffy,” Cinestaan wrote. This is the one you find the most difficult to accept out of all the artistic licences taken here. The ultimate effect, however, is a perfect Diwali entertainment, with the faults far outnumbering the advantages.
