Ace photographer Avinash Gowariker, known today for his iconic Bollywood portraits, once spent over two years living at Salman Khan’s famous Galaxy Apartments
In a candid moment on the show, Salman recalled how Avinash, during his struggling days, had requested temporary accommodation. “He asked if he could stay for 15 days,” Salman said with a smile, “and he stayed for two and a half years.”
The situation finally came to light when Salman’s brother Sohail Khan walked in one day with his newly-wed wife, Seema. Sohail asked Avinash to vacate his room as the couple needed the space. That’s when the real twist emerged — Avinash confessed he did have a rented apartment in Bandra all along, but had sub-let it to someone else.
When asked why he chose to continue living at Galaxy Apartments, Avinash simply responded, “Because of the love and hospitality I got here.”
