Yash Raj Films is gearing up to reboot one of India’s most iconic action franchises, Dhoom, with the much-anticipated Dhoom 4. According to sources close to the development, YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra has teamed up with acclaimed writer Shridhar Raghavan to lock the script for the next installment, which is set to go on floors in April 2026.
Ayan Mukerji is said to reportedly on the verge of being locked to Direct this reloaded franchise.

“Aditya Chopra has been deeply involved in developing the story and screenplay of Dhoom 4 alongside Shridhar Raghavan,” a source revealed. “They are working meticulously on a story draft that lives up to the legacy and hype surrounding the franchise’s reboot.”
