Vakkantham Vamsi’s directorial debut, Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, is indeed a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action movie directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. This movie stars Allu Arjun, Arjun Sarja, as well as Anu Emmanuel and is produced by Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. R. Sarathkumar, Boman Irani, Thakur Anoop Singh, Sai Kumar, Pradeep Rawat, Harish Uthaman, Rao Ramesh, Nadhiya, and Vennela Kishore are among the supporting cast members.

Surya is indeed a short-tempered soldier who wants to serve on the border, but he gets himself into problems after getting into fights and murdering a terrorist. He is offered the opportunity to demonstrate his value by obtaining the signature of a prominent psychologist, who happens to be his estranged father. Surya must control his rage while still facing his foes if he is to achieve his goal.

Vishal-Shekhar created the soundtrack, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited it. On May 4, 2018, the movie was released. For his portrayal within the movie, R. Sarathkumar received the SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role (Telugu). Surya is an Indian Army soldier with anger management difficulties who wish to be stationed along the Line of Control.

Surya uses his gun to shoot down a terrorist immediately as the officer arrives to seek the gun from Surya’s senior Col. Sanjay Shrivastav after getting into a scuffle at a local bar and hitting Inspector Himanshu Negi and taking his rifle. Surya’s hopes have been dashed after he was Court Martialed for insubordination. Surya’s godfather begs Shrivastav to give him one last opportunity. Dr Rama Krishnam Raju, the country’s top psychologist and Dean of the Institution of Psychology and Foreign Languages, who also happens to be Surya’s estranged father, agrees on the condition that Surya obtains the signature of approval from the country’s top psychologist and Dean of the Institution of Psychology and Foreign Languages, Dr Rama Krishnam Raju.

Surya chooses to go across the border in order to achieve his goal and moves in with a passport officer called Kishore, whose been waiting for a year with a similar signature from Raju. Surya, as well as Raju, refuse to recognise one another when they first meet, and Raju probes Surya’s personal life. Surya tells Raju about his breakup with Varsha, who distanced herself from him after learning about his career and his contempt for her uncle. Surya becomes enraged, accusing Raju of taking pleasure in listening to Surya’s failures. Raju then informs the entire institution about Surya.

Surya accepts Raju’s challenge to manage his wrath for three weeks and not provoke any fights starting the next day. He, on the other hand, knocks up a young gangster who causes a ruckus in the middle of the road, revealing himself to be the son of a feared mobster Challa, the day before the challenge is to begin as a final battle. Surya experiences many problems with Challa and his men over the next few days, but he is able to contain his emotions and has even become accustomed to living inside the culture.

Surya, on the other hand, finds herself as the lone witness to Mustafa’s murder at the hands of Challa’s son over a land dispute. As he learns from society, he remains silent about it. When Police Officer Krishna Kumar, who was investigating Mustafa’s murder, approaches him as someone who had a significant effect on the latter’s life, he is guilt-tripped. Surya, meantime, reconciles with his father, returns to his family, reconciles with Varsha, and appears to have triumphed in the task. He does, however, publicly acknowledge his error and refuses to sign the document. Surya assaults and kidnaps Challa’s son, pleading with Challa to help him find Mustafa’s son Anwar, who has proclaimed his anger for the nation for failing to acknowledge his father’s sacrifices and death, and has fled his home.

Surya is concerned that Anwar may go down the wrong road, so he and Challa set out on a journey to find him.

Surya finds Anwar in Mumbai and helps him realise his error, warning him not to go down the wrong path in life, after which Anwar demonstrates his love for his country. Surya obtains Raju’s signature and is seen standing at the border, waving the Indian flag, a few months later.
