RSVP, a film by Ronnie Screwvala as well as Guilty By Association, and Mission Majnu, a movie featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, would now be released on June 10th, 2022. The news was made on Wednesday with the release of a brand new poster.
The espionage thriller, directed by Shantanu Bagchi, stars Sidharth Malhotra as just a RAW agent who leads a secret operation on Pakistani soil inside the 1970s. Rashmika Mandanna, India’s darling, makes her Hindi debut inside the movie.
Sharing the poster, RSVP captioned it, “The target is set! Get ready to be a part of India’s most daring RAW mission in the heart of Pakistan. Inspired by true events, #MissionMajnu releasing on 10th June 2022.”
The movie will now collide with Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal’s Govind Naam Mera, which will be released on June 10th. Prithviraj, a film starring Akshay Kumar, was also set to hit theatres on June 10th. The actor, on the other hand, chose to premiere his period drama on the prior weekend, June 3rd.
The Shantanu Bagchi directed film introduces a new duo, with Sidharth’s follow-up to the success Shershaah and Rashmika’s long-awaited debut following her enormous blockbuster Pushpa.
Mission Majnu is written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora, as well as Sumit Batheja and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta. In addition to Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra will play crucial parts in the action thriller.
