Last Night In Soho

Last Night In Soho, Edgar Wright’s highly anticipated psychological thriller, is due to hit Indian cinemas on November 12th, 2021. Also with the publication of the film’s trailer in May, Indian moviegoers have indeed anticipated that it would be a blockbuster hit and is one of the finest psycho-thriller films of the year.

Last Night In Soho is indeed a movie set in London in two timelines: 1966 and so now. It follows Eloise, a young lady with such a passion for fashion design as well as a peculiar sixth sense. She is transported back in time to 1966 in London, wherein she takes over the identity of Sandie, a legendary nightclub singer.

Sandie and Eloise’s lives are interwoven and reflected in the May teaser released by Universal Pictures India. There is also a hidden subtext that reads: “This 12th November watch Eloise’s London fantasy turn into a sinister nightmare. The truth will come out in #LastNightInSoho in theatres near you.” That alone is confirmation that we’re in for a fantastic adventure.

Anya Taylor-foreboding Joy’s version of Petula Clark’s ‘Downtown’ was used in the previous teaser. As the trailer progresses, McKenzie’s persona transports us to the 1960s.

The subtext is as follows: “When the past lets you in, the truth will come out,”

Last Night In Soho showcases the skills of a number of well-known actors. Thomasin McKenzie, who portrays Eloise, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who portrays Sandie, are the film’s starring females. As Jack, a minor role, Matt Smith joined the ensemble.
