Kartik Aaryan announced his project Satyanarayan Ki Katha in June 2021, which was to be his first collaboration with filmmaker Sameer Vidwans. After nearly seven months of controversy over the title, the film is allegedly poised to begin production in March.
According to a web portal source, the film’s producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, is planning to start shooting in March. The film was supposed to start shooting in December, but it didn’t because of the third wave of a unique coronavirus, according to a person close to the project.
The movie will only go into production if the remaining commitments of its lead cast have been fulfilled. Kartik Aaryan is now completing his remaining commitments, which include brand endorsements and the finishing touches on Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada. Kiara Advani, on the other hand, has been closing off her numerous brand shots. Aside from that, Kartik and Kiara will soon begin the promotions for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and will have to balance the film’s shoot with the promotions.
In terms of the movie, Satya will be played by Kartik Aaryan, while Katha will be played by Kiara Advani. The film’s original title was Satyanarayan Ki Katha, but it was changed amid opposition from fringe organisations who claimed it was racist.
