Since Anushka Sharma announced her comeback film, all eyes have been on her. In the film Chakda Xpress, she will play Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. She is now preparing for the debut of her upcoming Netflix sports drama film. This is the first time the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress has appeared in a film since 2018. Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, was her most recent film. On Monday, the actress shared a behind-the-scenes look at her filming preparations.
The actress from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is seen in the video practising her bowling. She wrote in the caption, “That’s how the last few days have been”.
She’s dressed casually in a baggy white T-shirt and black jogger trousers. Jhulan soon responded to the video with red hearts, clapping hands, and hugging face emojis.
Anushka Sharma teased her forthcoming film Chakda Xpress earlier this year. On her social media, the PK actor wrote, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket.”
After welcoming her kid Vamika with husband and cricketer Virat Kohli in January 2021, she will also return to the big screen. Meanwhile, Prosit Roy is directing Chakda Xpress, which is produced by Karnesh Ssharma’s Clean Slate Filmz.
