Jaani Dushman

Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaani is a 2002 Indian Bollywood paranormal fantasy action film superhero movie directed on Rajkumar Kohli, marking it his final film as a filmmaker. Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Aftab Shivdasani, Sharad Kapoor, Sonu Nigam, Arshad Warsi, Aditya Pancholi, Rambha, and Raj Babbar star inside the movie, which also has Manisha Koirala and Armaan Kohli as that of the major villains. Amrish Puri makes an appearance as just a guest speaker.

This one was Arman Kohli’s homecoming movie, in which he was relaunched as Munish Kohli.

This film garnered poor reviews and became a box office failure. That picture is also regarded as the worst ever created. Nevertheless, it really has gained cult notoriety so over years due to its horrible computer graphics, lousy narrative, poor director, and poor acting.

Salman Khan was the first option for Sonu Nigam’s part, however, he was rejected due to scheduling conflicts. Sharad Kapoor’s part inside the movie was originally played by Atul Agnihotri, although he eventually signed on for a special appearance, and the job was therefore offered to Apurva Agnihotri, who was rejected owing to scheduling conflicts. Shah Rukh Khan had originally been cast in the part of Akshay Kumar, although he was rejected due to his commitments with Kal Ho Naa Ho.

Chandrachur Singh was the initial actor to be cast inside the part of Aditya Pancholi, although he later declined. Shilpa Shetty was the first actress to be considered for the part of Manisha Koirala, but she refused. So when the movie was first announced, this was planned for Ajay Devgn to portray Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt to play an additional character akin to his father Sunil Dutt’s part in Nagin (1976), and Jackie Shroff to play Raj Babbar.

Sunny Deol, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chandrachur Singh, Apurva Agnihotri, Aftab Shivdasani, Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, and Armaan Kohli were among the original cast members for this movie, however, the cast was eventually revised, and Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Suniel.

Critics were harsh in their assessments of this picture. Rediff.com’s Ronjita Kulkarni gave the movie a 1.5/10 rating, saying, “The performances are half-hearted, as well as the characters are half-baked.” He also referred to the movie as “unoriginal and uninspiring.” Sunil Shetty was fairly average, while Jaani Dushman in Sunny Deol was wasted in just this picture since he appeared in fewer parts than that in his prior movies.
