I Movie

S. Shankar wrote and directed I movie, a 2015 Indian Tamil-language action drama movie. Vikram, Amy Jackson, and Suresh Gopi star in the movie, which is produced and released by V. Ravichandran’s production firm, Aascar Films. Santhanam, Upen Patel, Ojas Rajani (in her film debut), and Ramkumar Ganesan play key parts.

The movie follows a bodybuilder turning supermodel, portrayed by Vikram, who, after first being disfigured, seeks vengeance on all those who caused his misfortune. The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as well as Beauty as well as the Beast, were used as inspiration for parts of the movie. A. R. Rahman wrote the soundtrack as well as the cinematic score.

T. Muthuraj was in charge of the production design. The movie’s cinematographer was P. C. Sreeram, and Anthony edited it. V. Srinivas Mohan, via Rising Sun Pictures, created the visual effects. The movie’s digital and artificial make-up, as well as the backdrop arts, were created by Weta Workshop. On July 15, 2012, set to begin. The production took place over the course of two years and eight months, with much of the action taking place in China.

Additional shoots took place in Chennai, Bangkok, Jodhpur, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Bangalore, and Mysore. The climactic train combat sequence was filmed in Chengalpattu, Odisha, and Vishakhapatnam rail stations.

Together with the initial Tamil version, this movie was converted as well as released in Telugu as well as Hindi.
Vikram’s acting, the artistic components of a film – notably the costuming and cosmetics, and A.R. Rahman’s music and score – were acclaimed by critics, however, the ‘wafer-thin’ screenplay and script, as well as the movie’s 188-minute total time, was panned. The movie, nevertheless, was indeed a box office success, earning 2.40 billion (US$34 million) globally, becoming one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies of all time, as well as Vikram’s highest-grossing picture.
This film has received Vikram the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil.

The movie’s music album and soundtrack were created by A. R. Rahman. On September 12, 2014, the Tamil version’s soundtrack was unveiled there at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Even as a primary guest, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who inspired the role Lingesan, was called. On December 31, 2014, the music song’s translated Hindi, as well as Telugu editions, were launched.
